Hannah Pitkethly: Centre Manager

Hannah: centre manager

I joined Eastcotts as Centre Manager in January 2009. Prior to this I spent the past 8 years working in a variety of roles within the NHS, including my previous role as Manager of the Accident and Emergency department at the Royal London hospital. I am currently studying part time for a diploma in Specialised Play for Sick Children.

I have always loved working with children and when the opportunity of managing Eastcotts came up I jumped at the chance. The staff and families at the centre have made me feel extremely welcome, and I have already seen some of our regular children growing in confidence, which is fantastic.

My role includes developing working relationships with other professionals to provide a range of services within the centre, procuring new activities and ensuring the services we are providing meet the needs of the community. I also assist with the group sessions run within the centre.

I currently work 3 days a week, Monday-Wednesday.
