Karen Bailey: Children's Centre Teacher

I joined Eastcotts Children’s Centre in September 2007. I qualified as a teacher in Brighton in 1991 then worked in Crawley, West Sussex for seven years before moving to Bedfordshire. I have worked in Shortstown, Clapham and Queens Park. I love working with children and have learnt so much becoming a parent myself! I have a son and daughter aged four and seven.

At Eastcotts I help to run ‘2-up Play Together’, ‘Heuristic Play’ and the fitness class ‘Movers and Shakers’. I’m looking forward to developing more links with the pre-school, toddler groups and schools in the area.
